Introducing Layla Sania, a young Malaysian singer who showers herself with tons of joys in what she is currently doing.
Layla Sania, who will turn 20 years old this year, is a Warner Music Malaysia artist as well as a student majoring in Early Childhood Education.
BORN TO SING
Layla Sania has been exposed to arts in a very young age. Raised in an artistic family, her father is a song writer, also a visual artist; while her mother is a passionate music enthusiast who also enjoys singing.
Through this, Layla’s enthusiasm for expressing herself through music and voices has progressively blossomed in this environment.

Layla used to be a rather shy and introvert person as she was not used to express herself through words, with the worries in mind that she might say the wrong things. Be that as it may, she has slowly channel this dread into something she wants to communicate on the stage. “It feels different when I am performing,” , said Layla, hoping that her audiences feel the same way.

Layla’s stardom journey has been magnified when she effortlessly performed a popular Mandarin number originally sang by Tiger Huang.
Being able to talk and sing in familiar Mandarin, provides Layla with the high ground of being among the very few Malays who can capture a different set of audience.
DECONSTRUCT THE BARRIERS
Layla is always ready to take in more challenges and risks to reach her goal. In order to reach a wider range of audiences, Layla is willing to learn different languages to communicate with her followers. “Languages can be learnt, they are not a barrier to me”.
Not just a singer, Layla’s ambition is becoming a teacher, specializing in those childeren with special needs.
"I’ve always wanted to combine music and education. To open my own school with my own unique syllabus combining education and music."
Known to be optimistic and bold, Layla is not afraid to face the obstacles knowing that this goal definitely brings challenges along the way. Holding the motto that motivates her, “If you like something, this thing will be easier for you”, she is more than ready to make her goals come true.
