Introducing the tri-party collaboration between Puma x atmos x Three Tides Tattoo atmos presents a closer look at Puma’s collaboration with atmos and Three Tides Tattoo, a tattoo parlour that has established itself in 1988 in Japan. Known for their mix of old traditional artworks with modern flairs, they’ve teamed up with atmos and Puma for a tri-party collaboration to bring Three Tide Tattoo’s iconic style to the classic Puma Suede that revolves around Halloween in Japan. Originating from Japan, the shoes are made in Japan, which gives its attention to quality and detail. The graphics on the upper depicts “Hyakki Yagyo”, through the design of Ukiyoemon Mitomoya. Hyakki Yakō, is an idiom in Japanese olden folklore. The meaning behind it is an orderly procession, other times a riot, it refers to an uncontrolled horde of countless numbers of supernatural creatures known as oni and yōkai. As for the details of the shoes, the Puma Formstrip that are located at medial and lateral sides are almost invisible; layered atop the profile. It further enhances the graphics on the pair, as a tribute to the artwork. The black suede wraps the toe upwards, laces & heel tab, giving it the full look. This tri-party collaboration is retailing at RM 859 & available exclusively at atmos Kuala Lumpur.
