VANS TEAMS UP WITH LIBERAIDERS®︎ ONCE AGAIN TO RELEASE THE UPCOMING COLLECTION

Vans x Liberaiders®︎ collaboration

The original action sports brand Vans, once again collaborates with Liberaiders®︎, the leading street culture brand, based on the understanding and inheriting of the street culture. The latest collection combines classical elements from both brands mixed with American street style to interpret creative expression and youth culture.

West Coast street culture atmosphere combining American street style

The design inspiration of the Vans x Liberaiders®︎ collaboration is based on the West Coast street culture atmosphere that Mei Yong felt in the 1980s and 1990s, combining American street style with products to create the finest quality of high-end fashion and outdoor products. In the new Vans x Liberaiders®︎ collection, Vans Classic Era 95 DX, Half Cab 33 DX and Sk8-Hi Reissue Zip have featured a washed suede material in the main colour of the blue Liberaiders®︎ brand logo, blending white or navy blue. As a tribute to the philosophy of the brand, the bottom also features a vintage yellowing bottom and crystal outsole with the brand's imprint"DESTINATION UNKNOWN".

Era 95 DX uses white that contrasts with a bright blue toe and heel for an edgy summer ready silhouette. Half Cab 33 DX and Sk8-Hi Reissue Zip are both navy blue and feature the Liberaiders®︎ logo and Origami Crane pattern. Vans' classic checkerboard pattern decorates the upper of the Half Cab 33 DX, while Liberaiders®︎' iconic blue side seam marks. Embroidered on the tongue label and the first upper eyelet is the distinctive pink of the West Coast in the 1980s. Additionally, Sk8-Hi Reissue Zip side stripes and the heel are colored in blue along with the application of smooth leather detail with navy blue quarters. In recognition of the collaboration, the heel is embossed with the iconic Origami Crane pattern.
