The design is based on the "GEL-EXTREME," which was born in 1989 as a high-end basketball shoe in the United States. It overturned the basic concept of white-based shoes in the early 1980s and is a pioneer of colored basketball shoes. At the time, members of dominant professional basketball teams wore them at the highest level of the game, matching up against some of the greatest players in basketball history. BLASTFOAM is used in the midsole and heel wedge, and recycled Otholite is used in the insole to enhance cushioning.
